George Pritchett

George Lee Pritchett, Jr. was born on February 14, 1947, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was the son of George Lee Pritchett, Sr. and Vertie (Jackie) Mae Ritter. George passed from this life in Muskogee, Oklahoma on October 11, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Vernie Mae Ritter and her husband Gene Ritter; his father: George Pritchett, Sr. and wife Francis Pritchett; and his wife: Barbra Jean Pritchett (Leep).

George is survived by 3 brothers: Hasting Pritchett and wife Rhonda of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Steven Pritchett of Butte, Montana, and Noah Pritchett; 3 sisters: Sandra Guinn and husband Bill of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Debbie Cooper of Stilwell, Oklahoma, and Georgina Adams; his children: Jackie Pritchett, and Christa Pritchett both of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Steven, and Kristy Pritchett of Marble City, Oklahoma, Kiah Pritchett, Lance Pritchett, Cody Pritchett, Selena Hawkins, Marisa Sparks and husband Leon, and Toney Quntia all of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; his grandchildren: Katelyn, and Amanda Pritchett, Danny Kirk, Zachary Sanders, Ethan Pritchett, Nathan Pritchett, Isabelle Pritchett, Elizabeth Pritchett, Owen Pritchett, Khailee Pritchett, Blake Pritchett, Jackson Pritchett, Madison Pritchett, Lance Pritchett, Jr., Izaiyah Pritchett, Darren Hawkins, and Gage Foley; 2 great grandchildren: Phoebe, and Octavia Pendergraft.

George was known for his work.  He was one of the best masons around.  George had a passion for hunting, fishing, and any dirt road he could find.  He read any western book that he could get his hands on.

George joined the National Guard in 1966.

He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
