Audrey Gass

Born on October 17, 1932, to Alfred and Ida Broad, in Franklin County Illinois. Alfred was a coal miner and Ida a devoted mother and homemaker. She had three siblings Edith (Becky), Joseph and Ronald. She married Bill Gene Gass on September 15, 1948, at fifteen years old. Together they had three children, Debra, Pamela, and Kevin.

Audrey was known for her strong work ethic, brutal honesty, and her love of family. She was never afraid of hard work from car hopping on roller skates to factory work at Weyerhaeuser and Chicago Rawhide. From convenience stores to co-owning a local donut shop, she eventually retired from Stilwell Walmart after 26 years of service.

Preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Ida Broad, her brother Ronald Broad, her sister Edith (Becky) Choidini, her husband Bill Gass and her daughter, Debra Maki.

She leaves behind her little brother, Alfred Joseph Broad of Stilwell, OK.

3 CHILDREN: Debra (Samuel) Maki of El Paso, TX; Pamela (Calvin) Workman of Stilwell, OK; and Kevin (Barbara) Gass of Hampshire, IL.

16 GRANDCHILDREN: Letitia (Larry) Pappan of Norman, OK; Brandi Maki of Wewoka, OK; Corinna Holloway of Moore, OK; Samuel Maki of Canutillo, TX; William (Galina) Maki of Hagerman, ID; Nicole (Jeremy) Lawless of Tahlequah, OK; Sarah Workman of Stilwell, OK; Matthew (Bridget) DeNoma of Genoa, IL; Nina (Wayne) Markgraff of Wonderlake, IL; and Robin (Jeremy) Eichberger of Gainesville, VA.
