Wesley Sawney

Wesley James Sawney, age 62 of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away Monday, April 3, 2023 at his home in Stilwell, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the Honey Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Roberts-Reed-Culver Funeral Home.

Wesley James Sawney was born March 12, 1961 in Adair County to Wesley and Osie (Ross) Sawney. He grew up the Bell Community and attended schools there. Wesley worked for the Springdale, Arkansas Street Department for 22 years. He loved to work on race cars. In 1978 Wesley married Marian Poole in Springdale, Arkansas.

Survivors include two sons Wesley Sawney Jr. and James Glenn Sawney; three grandchildren Logan, Dawn and Echo; four great grandchildren Lycan, Evelyn, Praise and Ronin; one sister Debbie Roy; one step brother Donnie Neal. He was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Sawney and stepsister Catherine Neal.
