Aaron David Roberts passed away on December 17, 2022. He was born on January 23, 1990, in Stilwell, OK to parents Dean and Kelli Roberts. He has two brothers Kyle and Tyler, sister-in-law Natalie and nieces Evey and Aubrey. Aaron was the proud father of Paisley Mae Roberts whom he truly loved and cherished the time that he got to spend with her.
As a child, Aaron was shy and quite stubborn. He attended Zion Elementary School where he built many lasting memories and friendships. Aaron loved sports, the outdoors, hunting and fishing. As an affinity for his interest in football, he had an uncanny knack of memorizing college and NFL statistics and didn’t have a problem letting someone know if they were incorrect in their recollection, especially concerning Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers.
Aaron attended Stilwell High School and it was apparent that he enjoyed playing sports there, but thinking back, he never really talked much about “the schoolwork”. One of the things that he was most proud of was, while being coached by Craig Benson during their senior year football season, he and his twin brother Tyler were part of the team that went to the state playoffs after many years of drought. Following high school, Aaron attended Northeastern State University where he received a bachelor of science degree in Environmental Safety.
Aaron was a young man that enjoyed life in the good times and tried to shield those that he loved during the bad ones. At times he struggled with the pressures of life but never forgot how to love, give a hug, crack a joke or lighten up a room with his gorgeous smile and deep hearted laugh. He had a huge heart and never met a stranger. He seemed to have a deeper understanding than most of his fellow man, no matter the individual’s social status. Throughout the last few days, his family has come to recognize this much more and will strive to better apply this trait to our own lives, so that his legacy may live on. Aaron would love for those that are reading this choose to do the same. He always loved and let live.
Dean, Kelli, Kyle, Tyler, Natalie and the girls would love to see friends and family at his “Celebration of Life Service” being held at New Life Church in Stilwell, OK on Friday December 30th at 2:00 p.m.
