Albert Alberty

Albert Leon Ab Alberty, son of Andrew Jackson and Dorothy Thomas Alberty was born August 20, 1944 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on November 1, 2010 in Vian, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years, 2months and 12 days. He served his country proudly in the United States Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of the VFW. Ab was preceded in death by his parents A.J. and Dorothy Alberty, a wife Shirley Alberty, 1 brother Joseph Alberty, 1 nephew Tim Alberty and 1 niece Tina Alberty. He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife Joyce Alberty of the home in Vian, Ok, 2 sons Jack Alberty and Destiny of Bunch, Ok, John Alberty and Angie of Ft. Gibson, Ok, 2 Grandsons Tanner Alberty of Ft. Gibson, Ok, and James of Bunch, Ok. 1 brother Marvin Luger Alberty and wife Marilynn of Westville, Ok, 1 sister Linda Alberty Weavel of Henryetta, Ok, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him. Graveside services were held, Friday, November 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Bro. Don Waldrop officiating. Inurnment followed at Chalk Bluff Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home
