Alyene Rich

Alyene (Ritter) Rich daughter of Granville and Christine (Farmer) Ritter was born February 15, 1920 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on August 7, 2016 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 96 years, 5 months and 22 days.

She was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Alyene enjoyed quilting, gardening, canning and picking walnut and pecan goodies. She loved the outdoors, had a love for all animals and a true passion for fishing but most of all enjoyed quality time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands; Troy Caviness and Jim Rich, son; Gary Caviness, siblings; Thelma Cross, Ethel Johnson, Edith Adair, Dolly Tharp, Leon Ritter, Eugene Ritter, Burl Ritter, Joe Ritter, Minnie Ritter, 2 infant siblings and son in law; Lawrence Buckner.

Alyene is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Barbara Buckner of Coweta, OK, Shirley Webb of Broken Arrow, OK, Jerry Caviness and wife Mary of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren; Larry R. Buckner, Dana L. Groves and husband Jimmy, Teri Bookout and husband Gary, Renea Misek, Michelle Caviness, Jerry Wayne Caviness Jr, DeLana McMurtrey and husband Danny, Sherri Rich. Great grandchildren; Cody, Kristy, Michael, Samantha, Dylan, Brandon, 5 great great grandchildren, 4 step sons; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.
