Angelo Sawney

Angelo "Bodie" Sawney, son of Emmett Sr. and Lucy (Shell) Sawney on March 23, 1951 in Tahlequah, Ok and departed this life to be with our Lord on February 27, 2017 in Siloam Springs, AR at the age of 65 years, 11 months and 4 months
He married the love of his life Marilyn Gatewood on November 6, 1995. He was always willing to help anyone in need with anything. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, anything outdoors, loved reading and had a great love for animals especially his dogs or babies as he would call them "Mollie, Tanks and Brownie". He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Bodie was preceded in death by his father; Emmett Sawney Sr., brother; James Sawney, 2 step grandchildren; Angel Kay and Tracy Edward Robertson.
He is survived by a very loving family that include wife of nearly 22 years; Marilyn Sawney of the home, his mother and step father; Lucy and Lee Roy Eagle of Stilwell, OK, children; Jacob Sawney and wife Anonda of Newalla, OK, Crystal Glenn and husband Billy of Stilwell, OK, grandchildren; Jake Sawney, Chasity Hawk and husband Brandon, Jayson Glenn, Tylor Glenn, Jimmy Glenn, Rebecca Glenn and LaDonna Glenn. Great grandchildren; Brandon Hawk Jr., Jordan Hawk, Kyleigh Hawk, Tyson Hawk, Styker Hawk, siblings; Sue Kinnisten of Michigan, Emmett Sawney Jr and wife Debbie of Tahlequah, Ok, Melvina Bowin and husband Bryan, Kenneth Sawney of Welling, OK, Eva Barr and husband Charley of Briggs, OK, Viola Poor and husband Mike, Pete Sawney and wife Shannon, Glenda Watkins all of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 3, 2017 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Gil Hooper officiating. Interment followed at Salem Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma
