Anna Morris

Anna Belle Morris, daughter of John William and Elizabeth Parris Fletcher, was born on June 3, 1926 in Proctor Ford, Oklahoma and was welcomed home by our Lord on Saturday, October 10, 2009 in Watts, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years, 4 months and 7 days. Anna Belle enjoyed her life as a wife, mother grandmother, great grandmother, great- great grandmother and friend. She would welcome all with a smile and open arms. Anna Belle joined with Tillman Morris in Holy Matrimony on June 19, 1943 and they were blessed with 66 years of marriage. She was a truly wonderful woman, who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: John Henry Fletcher, Earl Fletcher and Virgil Fletcher, Earl Wilson and sister: Margaret Ross. Anna Belle is survived by her husband: Tillman Carl Morris of the home in Watts, OK, children: Elizabeth Waldroop of Watts, OK, Barbara Clark and husband Johnny of Watts, OK, John Morris and wife Denise of Watts, OK, T.C. Morris Jr. of Watts, OK, 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 6 great- great grandchildren, brother: Cecil Fletcher and wife Vicy of Watts, OK, sister: Joyce Ellis and husband David of Lincoln, AR, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bill Holcomb officiating. Interment followed in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
