Annie Oleta Butler Hensley was born on May 8, 1921 in Whitmire, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years and 27 days. Oleta resided in the Christie Whitmire area most of her life. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. Oleta was the daughter of Lawrence and Pearl White Butler. She married Bert Hensley in 1939 and to this union three daughters: Jan, Cathy and Tonya and two sons: Don and Randy were born. She was a wonderful cook. Oleta loved helping others. She had a deep love for her family and enjoyed doing things for them daily. Preceding her in death were her husband: Bert Hensley, parents: Lawrence and Pearl Butler, daughter Jan Vaughan, son: Randy Hensley, sisters: El Dee Brannon, Opal Meadors, brothers: Dewey Butler, Carroll Butler, a special niece: Debbie Butler and nephew: Larry Butler. Survivors include her daughters: Cathy Hill of St. Albans, WV, Tonya Daugherty and husband James of Stilwell, OK, son: Don Hensley and wife Linda of Broken Arrow, OK, brother and special sisterinlaw: Kenneth and Mary Butler of Morrow, AR, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, as well as a soninlaw: Audie Vaughan of Stilwell and daughterinlaw: Sylvia Gongora of Arlington, TX, a special niece and nephew: Pat and Mike Butler. Oleta is also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Monday, June 10, 2013 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Navil Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Ross Cemetery, Park Hill, OK.
