Audest Johnson

Audest Dell Bonnie Johnson, daughter of George and Rose Leist Tennison was born October 10, 1930 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on December 31, 2009 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 21 days. She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties of a very loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She worked at Campbell Soup and Franklin Electric. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; George and Rose Tennison, her step-mother; Plumie Tennison, her husband; William Odell Johnson, one infant sister, a daughter; Lucinda Smith, 2 great grandchildren; Tela Lant and Daniel Jones. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her 2 sons; Billy Dell Johnson of Westville, OK, Carl Edward Johnson and wife Victoria of Las Cruces, New Mexico 2 daughters; Bonnie Dell Remington and husband Terry of Summers, AR, Carolyn Marie Trent of Stratford, Ok, 3 brothers; George Tennison Jr. and wife Marty of Littleton, CO, Jerry Tennison and wife Gail, Norman Tennison and wife Debbie all of Coweta, OK, 1 sister; Ida Warren and husband Vance of Coweta, OK. 18 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends also survive her. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 in the Roberts Funeral Chapel, Westville, Oklahoma with Bro. Gerald Buckner officiating. Interment followed at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
