Barbara Beaston

Barbara Jane Beaston, daughter of John Haskell and Monica (Hodges) Adair, was born on August 21, 1932 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 in North Little Rock, Arkansas at 85 years of age.

She graduated from Stilwell High School in 1949. Barbara married Ed Beaston on August 21, 1950 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and were blessed with over 67 years of marriage. She and Ed traveled and lived throughout Oklahoma, following the construction business.

They moved to Harrison, Arkansas in 1965, then moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas in 1966. In 1972, Barbara, Ed and Rick moved to Cabot, Arkansas, where they remained until 1990, when Ed and Barbara moved back to Stilwell, OK.

She was an avid reader of health related books. Barbara enjoyed watching Christian TV, cooking, gardening, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara will be greatly missed and forever loved by family, friends and everyone who knew her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents: Haskell and Monica Adair, brother: Johnny and an infant brother.

Those remaining behind to keep her memory alive include her husband: Ed Beaston, of the home in Stilwell, OK, children: Rick Beason of Cabot, Rebecca Riggle and husband Ronnie of Hot Springs, AR, sister: Shirley Ledbetter of Guymon, OK, grandsons: Bob Riggle and wife Edith of Charleston, SC, Aaron Riggle and wife Devon of Benton, AR, a great grandson, five great granddaughters and a great grandchild on the way.
