Barbara Perrin, born on December 30, 1942, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, adventure, and cherished memories. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, she made a meaningful impact on the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
A passionate golfer and lover of photography, Barbara embraced life with vigor and enthusiasm. Her love for tennis, water sports, and travel, including numerous memorable cruises and motorcycle trips, showcased her adventurous spirit. She had a special way of turning every moment into a cherished memory, always encouraging her loved ones to find joy in experiences.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Verardo Sr., with whom she shared 18 years of marriage, and her second husband, Jay Perrin, with whom she was married to for nearly 20 years. Barbara also mourned the loss of her mother, Lenora Ethel, and her sister, Brenda McCarty, along with many aunts and uncles, all of whom she held dear.
Barbara is survived by her son John Verardo Jr. and wife Jojo, daughter Lenora Callahan and husband David, her grandchildren; Jesse Verardo and his wife Aricka, Mitchell Callahan and his wife Ashleigh, and Andrew Callahan and his wife Jessica, and best friend of 75 years Linda Pennoyer. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends, each of whom treasured their connection to her.
Barbara Perrin will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who had the good fortune to know her.
