Barbara Waters

Barbara Jean was born to C. J. and Mary Carson at home on May 2, 1923 in Stilwell,Oklahoma. She went home to be with our Lord on March 9,2017.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 53 years, Feron Waters. He was a dentist in Tulsa for many years.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Gayle Waters of Tulsa, one brother, Tom Carson of Stilwell,and one niece and seven nephews.
Barbara Jean has a B.S. degree in home economics from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
She enjoyed cooking, reading,playing computer games and watching sports on TV.

In her earlier years, she was the high school band queen for three years, and valedictorian of her high school class.
In her later years, she was a talented oil painter.
