Betty Barnes

Betty Jean Barnes, daughter of Henry and Ollie Battenfield Hill was born September 5, 1928 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 9, 2009 in San Angelo, Texas at the age of 81 years and 4 days. She worked as a lineman in the agriculture industry. She was a very loving mother and grandmother to her family. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son; Gary Spray, 1 daughter; Paula Mehler and her husband; Ottist Hershel Spray. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children; Kenneth Leon Spray of Lindsay, CA, Virginia K. Morphis and husband Kenneth of Visalia, CA, Georgia Salciado of San Angelo, TX, Sharon Hayes and husband Randall of San Angelo, TX, 12 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren. Siblings; Grady Hill and wife Norma of Westville, Ok, Harvey Hill and wife Lena of Stilwell, Ok, Irene Hannah of Muskogee, Ok, several nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends also survive her. Graveside services were held Monday, September 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the Westville City Cemetery with Bro. Jim Beavers officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
