Betty Ruth McIntosh Graveside services for Betty Ruth McIntosh, 76, will be held on August 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Stilwell Cemetery with Rev Dale Nielsen officiating. Burial will be under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home of Stilwell.
Betty was born in Peavine, Oklahoma on September 9, 1937 to Sterling King Hartgraves and Edith Nettie Frazier. Betty passed away this hot August afternoon on Saturday, August 23, 2014, in Coffeyville Kansas in the home of her daughter. She was a retired trucker driver and former worker of Stilwell Foods.
Betty is survived by her 3 sisters: Vondera Keylon of Mammoth Springs, AR, Buna Estes of Salem, AR, Faye Warden of Oxford, AR. Betty has 3 daughters: Velvet Lynn Floyd Jaimes of Tulsa, OK, Elaine Duncan Thorn of Coffeyville, KS, and Janet Duncan Speakman and her husband Danny of Skiatook, OK. Betty also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 3 stepgrandchildren, 5 greatgrandchildren, 9 stepgrandchildren and one Dachshund named Basket. Betty is preceded in dead by her former friend, Tommy Y. Floyd Jr, former husbands, Louis Duncan, and Preston Joe McIntosh Jr, her parents, stepfather Isaac IKE Phillips. Many other relatives and friends also survive her.
Betty loved to talk about life and times of her mother, grandmother, grandfather, and her Stepfather, Ike. She would tell of some of the great adventure that her and her cousins would get into. She would also talk of her great adventure of her and Joe driving the truck all over the U.S.
She loved to read and watch crime shows on TV.
She will missed by all her friends and family.
