Bill Brown

Bill F. Brown, son of Frank and Emma Buckner Brown, was born on March 13, 1921 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in Stilwell at the age of 90 years, 2 months and 25 days. Bill was a lifelong resident of Stilwell. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Bill enjoyed gardening, raising cattle and watching Wheel of Fortune. His most used line was Ask Ruth. Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Emma Brown, brothers: John, Mack and Frankie, sisters: Rita Littlejohn, Julie Asbill, Emogene Ritter and Barbara Boen. Bill is survived by his wife of 68 years, 11 months: Ruth Workman Brown of the home in Stilwell, daughter: Billie Morris of Stilwell, granddaughters: Sonja Spray and husband Jim of Stilwell and Kimberly Glass and husband Rick of Rogers, AR, great grandchildren: Ashley Glass, Brandy Spray and Spencer Spray. He is also survived by many friends and relatives. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 10, 2011 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Gene Barrett officiating. Interment followed at Ewing Chapel Cemetery.
