Billy Adkins

Billy Joe Adkins, son of Loren Herbert and Cloe Kelley Adkins, was born on December 14, 1926 in Muskogee, Oklahoma and departed this life on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in Muskogee, Oklahoma at the age of 88 years.

He was a good husband and father. Billy supported his family as a carpenter. He loved his family and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them.

Preceding him in death was his parents: Loren Herbert Adkins and Cloe Kelley Adkins, wife: Hazel Adkins, brothers: Ralph Adkins and Bob Adkins.

He is survived by his children: James Ray Adkins, Donna House and husband Dean, all of Parachute, CO, grandchildren: Eric House and wife Lori of Barstow, CA, Phillip House of Parachute, CO, Timothy House of Parachute, CO, Juntim and Sandy Griffith of Las Vegas, NV, great grandchildren: Zane and Lisa House of Durango, CO.

He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel, Stilwell, Ok with Marty Jones officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK
