Bob Henson

Bob Henson, age 85 years, 9 months and 28 days, died on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Bob was born February 4, 1924, at home west of Watts, Oklahoma. He married Annabell Hamilton on August 1, 1960 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. He lived most of his life on the family home place and the place next to that. Bob was led to his savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, by his friend, Joe Watt, several years ago. He was a very gentle man and never raised his voice in anger to anyone. He is survived by his wife of 49 years of the home in Watts, OK, his stepson: Sherman Hamilton of the home and a niece: Karol Walters of the home, brothers: Andy Henson and wife Juanita of Westville, OK, Dean Henson and wife Lillian of Auburn, California, nephew: Roger Henson and wife Linda of Auburn, CA, niece: Betty Henson of Granite Bay, CA. Bob was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Millie Heustis, Lossie Williams and Cherry Henson, 2 brothers: Ted Henson and Paul Henson. Funeral Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Roberts Funeral Chapel in Westville, Oklahoma with Rev. Larry Kindle officiating. Interment followed at Proctor Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
