Bud Newman

Bud Newman, son of Leonard and Lizzie (Eads) Newman was born September 26, 1938 in Stilwell, Ok and departed this life on January 6, 2016 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 77 years, 3 months and 10 days.

He loved being outdoors and especially loved fishing. He was a handy man and enjoyed making things.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons; Greg Newman and Farrell Newman, brother; L.D. Newman and sisters; Jean Jones, Jonel Newman and Silvia Cox.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Leola Newman, daughter; Lizzie Sell and husband Timmy all of Stilwell, OK, 6 grandchildren; Jimmy Newman, Whitney Newman, Anthony Newman, Christy Silcox, Timmy Sell and Matthew Sell. Great grandchildren; Tarin Silcott, Aslynn Silcott and Waylon Smith, brother; Carl Newman, several other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Graveside services were held at 1 pm on Monday, January 11, 2016 at Newman Family Cemetery, Stilwell, OK under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, OK.
