Carol Hothouse

Carol Jeannean Hothouse, daughter of James and Betty Barnes Smith was born December 21, 1950 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and departed this life to be with our Lord on April 19, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 28 days. Carol was a devoted wife, mother and Christian. She was a very giving and caring person to whomever she met. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing and teaching Sunday school. Carol was preceded in death by her mother Betty Smith, her brother Jim Smith and 2 aunts Helen Hutchins and Mary Ann Landers, 2 brother in laws Willis Hothouse and Bill Meyer. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband of nearly 45 years Rev. Blue Hothouse, her daughter Jennie Walters of Bunch, OK, her son Jamey Hothouse and wife Crystal of Stilwell, Ok, 2 grandsons Mikah Walters and Peyton Hothouse, 2 granddaughters Teesha Richardson and Clarissa Prigmore. Her father James Smith of Ft. Smith, AR, sister Renae McGuire and husband Steve of Winslow, AR, brother Randy Smith and wife Gloria of Searcy, AR, 3 sister in laws Sarah Smith of Wyandotte, Ok, Emma Meyers of Bunch, Ok, and Margie Moore of Stilwell, Ok, 7 nieces Eva, Jackie, Rhonda, Emily, Dollie, Willa Mae and Littie, 6 nephews Kevin, Colby Lucas, Johnny, Willis Jr. and Tony. Numerous nieces and nephews and several great, great nieces and nephews, other relatives and many, many friends also survive her. Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Greasy School Gymnasium, Stilwell, OK with Rev. Blue Hothouse, Sister Jeanette Magar and Sister Helen Baker officiating. Interment followed at Rock Fence Cemetery.
