Carolyn Langley

Carolyn Rose Langley, daughter of Toy and Betty Lou Philpott Rotramel, was born on December 11, 1956 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on Saturday, October 3, 2009 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 52 years, 9 months and 23 days. Carolyn married Daniel Langley on September 4, 1992. She had an encounter with Christ early in her marriage and her life was forever changed. She enjoyed cross-country trucking, sewing, quilting, her dogs: George Pooter, her Bible study, playing her guitar and singing. Carol loved attending church to worship with fellow Christians. She was preceded in death by her father: Toy Rotramel, her brother: Toy Allen Rotramel, and mother-in-law: Annie Langley. Carolyn is survived by her husband: Dan Langley of the home in Westville, OK, children: Lynette Underhill of Watts, OK, Ryan Langley of Watts, OK, granddaughter: Sarah Underhill of Watts, OK, mother: Betty Rotramel of Westville, OK, sisters: Marcella Boone and husband Danny of Moreno Valley, California, Geneva Coulston of Westville, OK, Mary Jones of Hulbert, OK, Susan Jessie and husband Artie of Welling, OK, Dorothy Davis and husband Phil of Nebraska, Cynthia Spradlin and husband Eugene of Westville, OK, Debra Guess of Tahlequah, OK, Maggie McLemore and husband Darrell of Westville, OK, brother: Orville Rotramel and wife Bonnie of Tahlequah, OK, in-laws: Helena Kindle of West Fork, AR, Sam and Katie Langley of Westville, OK, Wanita Humphrey of Hardin, MT, Donna and Clyde Hopping of Westville, OK, Sharon and Tim Terry of Bonham, TX, several nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and a host of friends. Family visitation will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Jaybird Church in Westville, Oklahoma with Bro. Claude McGee and Bro. T J Tipton officiating. Interment followed at Old Baptist Mission Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home.
