Carolyn Sue Leach

October 19, 1959 — April 21, 2025

A loving and cherished wife and mother passed away peacefully at home on April 21st, 2025, at the age of 65 years in Stilwell, OK. Carolyn was born on October 19th, 1959, in Tahlequah, OK, to Ralph England and Imogene Scraper, but was raised by BB and Thelma Livers.

Carolyn was a devoted wife, mother, and maw maw. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for her husband, Albert, for 40 years, her children, and grandchildren. She lived a life full of love, kindness, and generosity.

Carolyn worked as a nurse aide, housekeeper, and foster mom for many years. She then became a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. Her family was the center of her life, and her grandchildren were the light of her eyes.

She loved to take vacations with Albert, go hunting, fishing, yard sales, flea markets, have family dinners, and being surrounded by her family and friends. Carolyn loved her daily walks, going back roading, and let me tell you, mom kept those roads hot, going to the casinos with her buddies Liza and “Wacky” Jackie, as she called her. Mom was so full of life and energy, she was just a fun person to be around, you never knew what she was going to say, and she never met a stranger and never knew whose house she was going to visit. Mom loved and loved hard, she was such a giving person, she liked giving little trinkets or her casino gift away. Most of all, Mom was the most selfless woman; she always made sure everyone was taken care of, she was a mother figure, and “Maw Maw” to many of her nieces, nephews, and cousins. Carolyn was loved by so many and will forever be missed, but she leaves us with the memories we shared with her to cherish and hold close to our hearts.

Carolyn Sue Leach is preceded in death by her parents, BB and Thelma Livers, Ralph England and Imogene Scraper, her sisters, Charlene England, Sherry England, and Sophia England, her nieces, Roberta England, Melanie England, and Cartaya Cypress, her nephews, Thomas England, Anthony Chavez, Eugene Brown, her grandson, Jaymin L. Gawhega and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Carolyn is survived by her loving family: her husband, Albert L. Leach; her son, Roberts L. Livers; her daughters, Renee A. Livers and companion Nathan Moton, Buffy, and Jeremy Gawhega, all of Stilwell, OK. She is also survived by her siblings: Benny Grigsby and his wife, John Grigsby and his wife, and Howard Hopkins and his wife, Carmalita England, and Barbara Coones, along with fourteen beloved grandchildren and Six Great-Grandchildren, along with numerous family and friends.
