Charles Smith

Charles Raymond Smith, son of Tact and Doris (Cragg) Smith was born March 27, 1950 in Ft. Smith, AR and departed this life on January 16, 2016 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 65 years.

Charlie as he liked to be called loved country music. He could tell you all the names of the songs and who sang them. He loved to tell jokes, and play pranks on friends. He worked construction most of his life. He loved to coon hunt and fish. He was stubborn at times but was a good man and like Elvis "he had it his way". The most important was that he had accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his lord and savior.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tact and Doris Smith, brothers; Phillip Smith, Benny William Smith and Tact Steve Smith.
Charlie is survived by a very loving family that includes his 2 sons; James Raymond Smith of Charlotte, MI, Christopher Smith and wife Casey of Muir, MI, 5 granddaughters. 2 sisters; Ruby Wallace of Stilwell, OK, Judy Dixson and husband Larry of Lavaca, AR, several cousins, other relatives and many, many friends also survive him.

Graveside services at 2 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Bill Holcomb officiating.
