Charles Stilwell

Charles Darrel Stilwell son of Charles Ralph and Thelma Waunita Barker Stilwell was born October 17, 1947 in Liberal, KS and departed this life on July 31, 2010 in Fayetteville, AR at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 14 days. Darrel served his country proudly during Vietnam in the United States Army. He loved to go fishing, hunting, gold panning, metal detecting and picking his guitar. Most of all he loved to spend time with his precious family especially his kids and grandkids. Darrel had a kind heart and was always fixing something for a friend, neighbor or family member. Many remember him as their plumber, electrician or just all around handy man. He was preceded in death by his parents. Darrel is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife of over 40 years Juanita Soap Stilwell of the home in Stilwell, Ok, 3 sons Charles Wayne Stilwell, Christopher Darrel Stilwell and wife Cyndi all of Stilwell, Ok, David Fatheree and wife Kate of Tenkiller, Ok, Daddys little girl Nikki Daryl Stilwell of the home, 6 grandchildren Kylar Stilwell, LaKayla Stilwell, Kylie Stilwell, Gavin Stilwell, Cali Stilwell, Rylan Bunch all of Stilwell, Ok, 1 sister Sue Ann Miller and husband Rex of Hectorville, Ok, his twin brother John Stilwell and wife Irene of Hilldale, Ok. Aunts Opal Osburn, Beatrice Githens, Oleta Dennis, Mary Talbott, Uncles Kenneth Stilwell and wife Norma of Keyy, Ok and Bill Barker of Stilwell, Ok, Mother and Father in law Minnie Soap and Nelson Soap, 4 sistersinlaw Peggy Sawney and husband Hershel, Nadine Ross and husband Larry, Shirley Soap, Ruby Swake, 2 brothersinlaw Leroy Soap and wife Karen, Larry Don Soap and Wife Thelma all of Stilwell, Ok, a special cousin Dan Grant, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him. Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Gary Flynn officiating.
