Charlotte Grimmett

Charlotte Grimmett, born on November 21, 1941, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2024, at the age of 82. She was a cherished member of her community and a beloved figure to her family and friends.

Charlotte was a member of Vann Baptist Church and an attendee at Beaver Baptist Church, Charlotte found joy and fulfillment in her faith and community. Her passion for gospel singings brought her happiness, and she enjoyed these uplifting gatherings with her loved ones. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was one of her greatest loves, as she treasured each moment shared with her family.

Charlotte is survived by her three sons, Mack Vann, Warren Vann, and Kenneth Vann, along with Kenneth's wife, Chyla. She was the proud grandmother to nine grandchildren, as well as a beloved great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy that spans the generations. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will continue to carry her spirit in their hearts.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her first husband, TooLate Vann, and her second husband, Rofus Grimmett, son Adam Dale Vann, and daughter April Ann Vann, and her mother Annie Sawney.
