Chester Goodwin

Chester Junior Goodwin was born January 4, 1929 and departed this life on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Western Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City, AZ. Chester was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Goodwin and Delphia Keeter Goodwin, one brother James Earl Goodwin, one nephew Billy Joe Goodwin Jr., one niece, Diane Goodwin Sullivan, one sister in law Louise Ausmus Goodwin, two brothers in law Jack English and Raymond Chuculate. He loved to garden and was great at growing cactuses. He enjoyed dancing and acting. He had several roles in local productions. He also loved to travel. He was a graduate of Stilwell High School and Northeastern State University. He is survived by two sisters Freda Chuculate of Tulsa, Ok, and Nina Petty and husband Jerry of Tulsa, Ok, 5 brothers H.L. Goodwin of Tahlequah, Ok, Watie Goodwin and wife Norma of Sallisaw, Ok, Max Goodwin and wife Sally of Newark, CA, Bill Goodwin and wife Beverly, Leon Goodwin and wife Pat all of Stilwell, Ok, one sister in law Mildred Goodwin of Manteca, CA. 9 nieces, 10 nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him. Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2010 at RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Hill officiating. Inurnment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
