Claude Eubanks, the son of Hubert and 01 lie (Petree) Eubanks was born April 1, 1935 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life January 17, 2016 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, 9 months and 16 days.
Claude married Franceil Irene Eads on July 2, 1955. They were married for 60 years and to this union 4 children were born: Michael Claude, James, Sandy and Steve.
Claude was a retired, self- employed business man of 52 years, operating a small country store in the community of Rocky Mountain (Dad says, "Smith Holler). He loved to interact with his customers and their families, as he knew they were what made the success of the family business. He had many ventures, i.e. growing squash to sell at the local cannery, tomatoes and the best black diamond watermelons sold in his store. In most recent years, his past times included raising turkeys, and watching the world pass from his favorite seat on the front porch.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Ollie Eubanks, 2 sisters; Gladys Swafford and Ethel Hooper, 6 brothers; Leonard, Lloyd, Floyd, Boyd, Troy and Roy Eubanks. Also his mother in law; Myrtle Miller.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Franceil Eubanks of the home, 4 children; Michael and wife Deborah Eubanks, James Eubanks, Sandy and husband Stephen Sparkman, Steve Eubanks, 1 sister; Goldie Mae McClain, sister in law; Wilma Eubanks all of the Rocky Mountain Community. He was blessed with 13 grandchildren; Kristal, Tina, Monica, Amy, Brittany, Robert, Natalie, Lacie, Allison, Dylan, Paxton, Rilee and Bethany. More blessings with 5 great grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Konnor, Karen, Lauren, and Lil' Michael. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews other relatives, friends and loved ones.
