Cletha Pitts

Cletha Mae Pitts daughter of Orville William and Faye (Walkingstick) Thompson was born November 3, 1941 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on March 20, 2018 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 76 years.

After attending Haskell Institute, she worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City where she met Bill Pitts and they formed a union of 55 years. She enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving wife, mother and sister to her family and enjoyed time spent with them. As an artist, she owned and operated a craft store in Keys area for several years. She also enjoyed cooking for her friends and family, and her specialty was down home comfort foods and desserts.

Cletha was preceded in death by her parents; Orville and Faye Thompson, brothers; Delbert Ray Walkingstick and Jerry William Thompson.

She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Bill Pitts of the home in Broken Arrow, OK, son; Terry Pitts of Broken Arrow, OK, brother; Thomas Thompson and wife Brenda of Phoenix, AZ, sister; Zelma Faye Moore and husband Walter of Claremore, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
