Curtis William Turner was born January 20, 1984, to Jack D. Turner, Sr. and Tammy Diana (Chappell) Turner at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He left this life to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 27, 2022, at the age of 38 years, 5 months, and 7 days.
Curtis enjoyed many things including time with family and friends. He enjoyed music and traveling, as being one of his fondness memories was a family camping trip to the Grand Canyon. The fullness of his life came from working to provide for his family and serving others. He had a humble heart that enjoyed helping from behind the scenes and would often seek ways to meet the needs of others.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Frank and Lela Caton (who many called “Old Mama”); and his great uncles: Gary Caton, and Wayne Caton.
He leaves behind his wife: Bobbi Sue (Nofire) Turner of the home; two daughters: Talia, and Yesenia Nofire; and one grandson: Xaviar Nofire all of Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Mother: Tammy Diana King and husband Kyle King of Stilwell, Oklahoma; his father: Jack D. Turner, Sr. and wife Martha Turner of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Four brothers: Bryan Franklin Turner and wife Tiffany and their children Sydney, Shyloh, and Jonathon of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Jack D. Turner, Jr. and his children: Kyla and husband Josie Brown of Collinsville, Oklahoma, Jacob Howard and wife McKenzie and daughter Geneva all of Bonanza, Arkansas, Jaelie Turner, and Kash Turner both of Van Buren, Arkansas, Maddi Turner, and James Turner both of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Daniel Sanderson and Tonya and their children Daniel Louis Lee Sanderson III and Amber Sanderson all of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Arthur Turner of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Grandmothers: Betty Lois Caton Jones of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Nancy Sexton of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Linda King of Lavaca, Arkansas.
Many other family members and many, many friends also survive him.
