Daniel Warren Buzzard, son of Frank Fallon and Mary Grandstaff Buzzard, was born on February 13, 1942 in Claremore, Oklahoma and departed this life on Saturday, April 19, 2014 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years.
Danny attended grade school in Jay, Oklahoma. Then with his family, moved to California, graduating from Monterrey Technical College with a degree in electronics.
In 1963, Danny and his family moved back to Jay, OK. He worked various jobs, before taking a position with Cherokee Nation Industries, where he worked for 5 years. He then moved to Camden, AR, taking a position with LTV, as a Lab Technician, working there for 20 years and retiring.
Danny pastored churches at Valentine, Rocky Mountain, Wauhillau and Bethel, having started his preaching ministry at the age of 11 years.
He taught, evangelized and held Bible studies across Oklahoma for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Mary Buzzard, brother: Leon and granddaughter: Amy Beth.
Danny is survived by his wife: Anna, of the home near Stilwell, children: Scott Buzzard, Tonya Still and husband Wade, all of Bristow, OK, Nancy Willis, Janet Jarrett, David Craig, all of Tahlequah, OK, brothers: David Buzzard of Claremore, OK, Wayne Buzzard of Lawrence, KS, sister: Inez Crawford of Lawrence, KS, grandchildren: Tarin Moore and husband Ben, Shane Hangartner and wife Brandy, Blake Still, Daythan Still and wife Savannah, Kristen Rupert and husband Scott, Eric and Sheila Jarrett, James Sanders, 4 great grandsons and 4 great granddaughters, his dear friend: Pee Wee Renfro and his beloved extended family, the Brandons of Rocky Mountain.
Many other relatives and friends also survive him.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Bro. Paul Starkey and Bro. Audie Vaughan officiating. Interment followed at Manus Cemetery, Briggs, OK.
