Danny Benoit

Danny Benoit son of Woodrow and Callie (Blackbird) Benoit was born February 24, 1941 in Claremore, OK and departed this life on June 13, 2016 in Tahlequah, OK
at the age of 75 years.

He enjoyed being a very loving father and grandfather to his family. He was a highline tramp and provided a living for his family traveling for work. He loved to travel and really enjoyed the Baron Fork Creek and spending time telling stories with his kids, grandkids and friends.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents; and sister; Janie Catron.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his children; Annette Doherty and husband Mike of Stilwell, OK, Chris Benoit and wife Rita of Weleetka, OK, Danny ''Chooch" Benoit Jr. and wife Kriste of Chouteau, OK, 8 grandchildren; Samantha, Stephanie, Jon, Stewart, Cory, Bailey, Gabe and Ellee. Two great grandchildren; Jaggar, Ashlynn, siblings; Gary Secondi, Glenn Benoit, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK.
