David Degler

David Willis Degler was born on October 12, 1928 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Franz and Mary Beaver Degler and departed this life on Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years, 1 month and 11 days.

David worked as a Machinist for Telex Corp for many years. He attended the Freedom Christian Center where he was a member of the choir. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed time spent with them.

His parents: Franz and Mary Beaver, wife: Willadene Degler and brother: Keith Degler preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughter: Debbie Johnson and husband Richard of Stilwell, OK, sister: Deloris Vineyard of Cincinnati, OH, grandchildren: Shana Hall and husband Kris, Ashley Johnson, great grandchildren: Klaire Johnson, Madaline Johnson, Paisley Johnson and Emily Hopkins, all of Stilwell, first great grandson: David is expected in January.

Many other relatives and friends also survive him.

Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at RobertsReedCulver Chapel with Blake Burns and Steve Hahn officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery.
