David "Poncho" Fourkiller, 60, was born to Janie Lee Fourkiller on February 15,1960 in Tahlequah, OK and went to be with the Lord on November 28, 2020 from his home in Stilwell, OK.

Poncho graduated Stilwell High School and played football for Haskell Indian Nations University for two years. He was skilled at various jobs but was happiest when he was working on the farm. Poncho liked being useful and knowing he was needed. He would help in any capacity he could but preferred being the one who told you what to do and how to do it. To family and otherwise, whether you were his niece, nephew, or not, he was affectionately known as Uncle Ponch. He was best known for imparting his wisdom every chance he got and being the hardest hitter in Stilwell Indian football history. Poncho was a member at Bidding Creek Baptist Church and loved his church family.

Poncho is preceded in death by his mom, three brothers, Harold Keith, Clifford Jerome Fourkiller, and John Doe Fourkiller, and several special aunts and uncles.

He is survived by one sister, Louann Christie of Stilwell, two sisters-in-law, Viola Glass of Stilwell, OK and Anita Fourkiller of Chickasha, OK, one aunt, Lucille Wilson of Stilwell, OK, one nephew, Rod and five nieces, Rowena, Danya, Tessa, Shelly, and Amanda and several great nieces and nephews. Poncho also leaves a host of cousins and friends whom he called Brothers and Sisters. Expressing feelings of love wasn’t easy for this tough guy but he loved his Brothers and Sisters and even if he ran you off the time before, the next day was a new day. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
