Diana Grayson

Diana June Grayson, daughter of Benjamin Harrison and Lucille Smith Sumka was born October 18, 1948 in Henryetta, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on February 11, 2010 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 61 years, 3 months and 24 days. Diana loved to go to church she attended Pleasant Valley Holiness Church for the last 15 years. She also loved gospel singing. She was a great cook and was always willing to help anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Benjamin Sumka Jr., and 1 sister Juanita Sumka. Diana is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband of 39 years Joe Grayson of the home in Stilwell, Ok, 3 brothers Marvin Sumka and wife Jeri of Glenpool, Ok, Martin Sumka of Henryetta, Ok and Bill Sumka of Tulsa, Ok, 3 sisters Doris Sumka of Henryetta, Ok, Abby Prentiss of Okmulgee, Ok and Jeanetta Harjo and husband Tiger of Henryetta, Ok. 1 special son Zechariah Howard of Stilwell, Ok, 1 special friend Marilyn Cochran, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her. Funeral services were held in Stilwell, Ok February 16, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. in the RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel and at the Hickory Ground 1 Church in Henryetta on February 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mitchell Taylor and Rev. Allison Phillips officiating. Interment followed in the Sumka family cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
