Diana Leyva

Diana Sue Leyva, daughter of L.T. and Ruby Woodward Henderson, was born on September 15, 1947 in Fairfax, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 14, 2010 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 62 years, 3 months and 29 days. Diana loved life and helping anyone in need. She spent many years as a paramedic, which gave her the opportunity to be there to help people at difficult times in their lives. Diana enjoyed being a member of the Lincoln Womens Auxillary. Her hobbies included crocheting and one of her favorite pastimes: Bingo. Many will remember her helping hand and her zeal for life. Diana will be missed. She was preceded in death by her father: L.T. Henderson and a son: John Baptist Leyva III. Diana is survived by her children: Nadica Ferguson and husband Daniel of Goshen, AR, Daniel Leyva and wife Crystal of Springdale, AR, mother: Ruby Williams of Summers, AR, brothers: Richard Henderson and wife Mary of Fayetteville, AR, Tommy Henderson and wife LaRhonda of Tulsa, OK, David Henderson of Kansas City, MO, Tony Leyva and wife Krystle of Sheldon, MO, sister: Rhonda Nickel and husband Fred of Fayetteville, AR, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, 2010 at Summers Baptist Church in Summers, Arkansas with Bro. Jack Thompson officiating. Interment followed at Summers Cemetery under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home, Westville, Oklahoma.
