Dollie Looney

Dollie Irene (Davis) Looney daughter of Jim and Ruby (Chuculate) Davis was born January 15, 1945 in Bunch, OK and departed this life to be with our Lord on May 4, 2018 at home in the Hungry Mountain Community at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 19 days.

Dollie was a very loving wife. mother, sister and grandmother to her family. She enjoyed working in her yard, cooking, camping, canning, going to church, cleaning houses and was always willing to help others. She worked at Greenleaf Nursery for 23 years then continued her employment at Walmart where she worked until retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; Richard Davis, Harley Davis, Doyle James Davis.

Dollie is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Hershel of the home, 3 daughters; Karen Lemasters, Sherri Burr, Tresa Foreman and husband Tex,1 son; David Looney and wife Leanna, 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Three sisters; Bonnie Davis, Wanda Ridge and husband Charley, Sue Buckhorn and husband Leon, 5 brothers; Raymond Davis and wife Letha, Andrew Davis and wife Deb, Charles (Moe) Davis and wife Lucinda, James Davis and wife Tammy, Virgil Chuculate, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Justin Davis,
Bro. Kevin Davis and Bro. Terry Mays officiating. Interment followed at Barber Cemetery, Welling, OK.
