Dorothy Ferrell was born November 9th, 1929 to William Henry Ferrell and Leota Opal (Bailey) Ferrell in Stilwell Oklahoma.
Dorothy was the eldest of four children and the historian of the Ferrell family. She loved to tell stories about the family farm that she grew up on, working in the orchards, grape vineyard and around the house. Dorothy worked at Tucker Duck & Rubber company then for Rheem in Fort Smith, Ar. until her retirement. Dorothy loved to sew and had at one time made ceramics. Dorothy was a member of the First Assembly of God and worked as secretary there also.
This is just a short summary of a full life.
She was preceded in death by her father Will, her mother Leota, her brother Howard Ferrell and her niece Debra Ferrell Matthews, all of Stilwell.
Dorothy is survived by her sisters, Lucille Ferrell Cole of Tulsa Ok, Ann Ferrell Carlton of Fayetteville AR and sister in law Mildred Carlton Ferrell.

Funeral services at 1 pm on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Roger Baker officiating. Interment to follow at Stilwell City Cemetery.
