Ed William Sevenstar was born on May 29, 1968, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Ed departed this life to be with the Lord on October 9, 2021, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at the age of 53 years, 4 months and 10 days.
Ed worked as a chicken catcher for many years for Robert Swake. Ed enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. In 1984 Ed and Bro. Jimmy Muskrat rode in the first Trail of Tears bike ride, from North Carolina to Stilwell, Oklahoma.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents: Ellis and Mary Sevenstar; 2 brothers: Kenneth Sevenstar and Gary Sevenstar; grandparents: Lynch and Fannie Glass; and 1 brother-in-law: Johnson Soap.
Ed is survived by 3 sisters: Mary Soap of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Melissa, and Beverly Sevenstar, both of Stilwell, Oklahoma; 3 kids: Reilly James Sevenstar of Westville, Oklahoma, Jordan Faye Still of Stilwell, Oklahoma, and Clayton Dale Martinez of Shawnee, Oklahoma; 9 grandkids; 7 nieces; 13 great nieces; 6 nephews; 10 great nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
Ed will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral Services were held at 2:00pm Friday, October 15, 2021, at Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Gary Flynn and Bro. Jimmy Muskrat officiating. Interment followed at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma. Under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, Oklahoma.
