Edna Ruth Anderson

February 28, 1946 — June 1, 2024

Edna Gaches Anderson was born on the 28th day of February 1946. She passed from this life on June 1, 2024.

She was loved by many people. She was the kindest person and never met a stranger. In her earlier days she sang with her sister and her mother, Pearl Ruth Gaches. She grew up in Stilwell, Oklahoma. She picked cotton with her family back in the day and she was head salad maker of Furr's Cafe' when it was in business. For years she cooked in the Stilwell Cafe'. She attended church at Spade Mountain, The Light House, and a few others. She was a good Christian woman. She would marry Andy Anderson at some point, but they would have no children.

Edna is preceded in death by her husband Andy, mother and father Pearl Buster Gaches and Oliver Boyd Gaches, brothers Farris Gaches and Bob Gaches, and her sisters Kathaleen, Maxine Wolf, and Ruby Adams.

She leaves behind sister Joyce Wolfe and a host of nieces and nephews, who will miss her beyond measure. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
