Edward Smith

Edward Leon Smith was born February 2, 1945 to Rufus and Leona Bush Smith in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and departed this life on February 5, 2021 at the age of 76 years.

Ed loved his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time in the woods. Ed loved having family gather at the park for family dinners. He also attended Cave Springs High School.

He was preceded in death by his only son: Edward Smith, Jr., his parents: Rufus and Leona Smith, 10 siblings, Dewayne Smith, Sam Smith, Norma Dearman, Ben Smith, Sarah Fourkiller, Brian Mink, and 3 infant siblings.

Ed is survived by his brother: Tommy Smith of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Loretta Sumpter of Bunch, Oklahoma, Dallas Smith of Stilwell, Oklahoma, and Kelly and Jacob Goodrich of Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Many nieces and nephews.
