Elizabeth Stephenson

Elizabeth Atha Jean Stephenson, daughter of Bush Sr and Bonnie Ressie Mag (Watkins) Unger, was born July 29, 1948 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on December 23, 2016 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 68 years, 4 months and 24 days.

She worked for Campbell Soup for many years. She enjoyed cooking, knitting, traveling, fishing and visiting with friends and family but most of all she enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving wife mother and grandmother to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bush Sr. and Bonnie Unger, Brothers; Garland, Charlie, Bush Jr. and George Unger Sr., sisters; Irene Russell, Margie Goldman, Lenora Workman, Helen Eli and Maxine Unger.
Atha is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; James David Stephenson of the home in Stilwell, OK, daughter; Tresa Lynn Brewer, son; Gary Deon Brewer, brothers; Todd Unger and wife Lynn, Jimme Lee Unger all of Stilwell, Ok. Grandsons; Gavin, Bryce, Gary Lee, Dylan, and Johny, great granddaughters; Ever, Alivia, Avah, great grandson; Ashten, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Friday, December 30, 2016 at Honey Hill Church, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Glenn Hopkins officiating. Interment followed at Honey Hill Cemetery under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home.
