Ellen Unger

Ellen E. Unger daughter of RA and Katherine (Vaughn) Coombes was born November 20,
1954 in Blackwell, Oklahoma and departed this life to be with our Lord on April 27, 2016 in
Stilwell, OK at the age of 61 years, 5 months and 7 days.

Ellen married Robert Unger March 18, 1977 and to this union 3 sons were born; Tom, Greg and Craig. She was a homemaker who enjoyed the duties that followed her role of being a very loving wife and mother to her family. She was mobile dispatch for Tri Community Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. She attended Honey Hill Free Holiness Church while her health permitted.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother in law; Josie and Carl Fanning, granddaughter Megan Paige Unger.
She is survived by a very loving family that includes her husband; Robert Unger of the home in Stilwell, OK, sons; Tom Unger of Mannford, OK, Greg Unger and fiance April Carver, Craig Unger and wife Rachel all of Stilwell, OK, sister; Aleeta Metzger and husband Dale of North Manchester, IN, brother; Dewayne Summerwell and wife Chuna, Uncle Ira Coombes and wife Dora of Stilwell, Ok. A special puppy "Nina", several nieces, nephews,multiple cousins other relatives and many friends also survive her.

Graveside services were held at 10 am on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Ewing Chapel Cemetery, Stilwell, Oklahoma with Bro. Lester Campbell and Bro. Glen Hopkins officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell, Oklahoma.
