Eugene "Gene" Kindy

Eugene “Gene” Mearle Kindy was born on October 29, 1931, in Springdale, Arkansas to Irl Kindy and Vada (Craft) Kindy. Gene would pass from this life on March 31, 2023, in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 91 years, 5 months, and 2 days.

Gene happily married Mary Ruth (Kindrick) Kindy on September 29, 2019.

Gene loved to fish and hunt; casting that fishing reel out brought so much peace to his heart. Cat fishing was one of his favorite things to do. He was known for his love of cooking, and you could taste the love with how great each of his meals turned out. Eugene enjoyed traveling, gardening, boats, and he was also known for his dance moves!

Eugene is preceded in death by his parents: Irl and Vada Kindy; and a son: Carlis Dewayne Kindy.

Those left to cherish Gene’s memory are his wife: Ruth Kindy; and his six children: Eugene Mearle, Gail Norine, Gary Don, Kelvin Lee, Dennis James, and Robbin Leann. A host of family and friends also survive him.

Gene wouldn’t want any of us to be sad for too long. He knew Jesus as his Lord and Savior, so he had the promise of eternity in Heaven and Gene would want that for all of us. He would also want us to remember the laughter, love, and great memories.
