Eula Marie Hunter, daughter of Walter Scott and Edith Welch Adair was born August 7, 1920 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on September 9, 2010 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 2 days. She cooked at Stilwell Hospital for many years. She also worked at Stilwell Foods. She was baptized into the Baptist faith many years ago. She enjoyed singing at the Stilwell Senior Citizens Center, was a member of the Adair Singers Group and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Eula was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur Joe Slim Hunter 2 brothers Earl and Byrl Adair, Step Mother Irene Adair, brothers Scottie, Danny and Eddie Adair, sister Nina Lou Hudson, step sister Jean Ray and 1 Sonin law Sam Claphan. She is survived by a very loving family that includes her children Jimmy D Hunter and wife Karen of Saginaw, TX, Patsy Sparling and husband Don of Clifton, TX, Earl Hunter and wife Glenda of Westville, Ok, Sharon Patton and husband Jack, Larry Hunter and wife Sharmon and Linda Claphan all of Stilwell, Ok, 19 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 6 greatgreat grandchildren, sisters Thadda Sue Horn and husband Bill of Greenwood, AR, Mary Hensley and husband Donnie of Eldon, AR, step sister Jimmie Cantrell, sister in law Judy Adair both of Stilwell, Ok, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive her. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery with Bro. Bo Wolf officiating. Interment followed under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
