Euladean Worley

Euladean was born on December 24th, 1920 to William Arthur & Lillian (Whitsett) Woods in Sallisaw, OK.  Euladean was united in marriage to Wren Worley on January 31st, 1943 in Stilwell, OK.  She departed this life on January 30th, 2023, at the age of 102, at her home in Stilwell, OK.

Euladean was a Cherokee Nation Citizen and a Cherokee Nation Elder.

Euladean was a selflessly devoted Daughter, Wife, Mother and Grandmother.  She took pride in keeping her home in order and ensuring there was food on the table at every meal.  She was a proud homemaker that could make a meal out of anything. She made homemade biscuits without making a mess, and we all know that is an impossible task.  She, hands down, made the best hot rolls, cakes and pies.  Some of her best times were when she was in her kitchen cooking, canning, baking, or making candy and cookies for the holidays.  Everyone had their favorites, which will always remain subject for debate among her family.

She truly was the best Mom and Granny and nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by her family.  This was never more evident than at Christmas.  Celebrating Christmas was extra special because it also included celebrating her birthday on Christmas Eve. This remains the greatest tradition of her family where memories and milestones are reflected in the photos taken in front of her fireplace each year.  The image of her love and devotion is reflected in her family and future generations to cherish.

Euladean is preceded in death by her parents, William A. & Lillian Woods, beloved husband, Wren Worley, Son-In-Law, Dr. Gary Jones, Grandson, Vernon Jones, and Granddaughter-In-Law, Angela Jones.

She is survived by her brothers Don & wife Wanda Woods of Tulsa, OK, Wayne & Wife Dortha Woods of Broken Arrow, OK.  Her beloved children, Butch & wife Wanda Long, Sue & husband Ross Roye, Linda Jones, and Donna & husband Larry Wheeler, all of Stilwell, OK.  Her cherished grandchildren and their families: Debbie, Ginger, April, Stephanie, Nick, Jack, Heath, Steve, Shelly, Jason, Jeff, & Mike.  She is additionally survived by the many blessings that are her Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren, as well as her Nieces and Nephews.
