Florence Terrell

Florence Terrell, daughter of Arthur and Carrie Bell Troupe Drake, was brought into this life on February 8, 1917 in Coffeyville, Kansas and departed this life to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 9, 2010 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years, 11 months and 1 day. Florence was loved by her family and all who knew her. She joined Sam Terrell in Holy Matrimony in 1932. They were blessed with 49 years of marriage. Florence worked as a Teachers Aide for many years and is remembered fondly by many students for her contribution to their learning environment. She will be deeply missed by all. She was preceded in death by her parents: Arthur and Carrie Bell Drake, husband: Sam Terrell, son: Hueston Terrell, daughters: Kathryn Terrell, Betty Raye Terrell and brother: Frank Drake. Florence is survived by her children: Sam Terrell of Stilwell, OK, Margaret Yell and husband Glenn of Stilwell, OK, Pat Vinson and husband W.O. of Alma, AR, Donna Walker of Garnett, KS, 20 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, 29 great great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Darrell Lacie officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
