Frank Neal Garrett, son of Mack Neal Garrett and Emma Belle Adair Garrett was born on October 14, 1936 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on July 3, 2011 in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 74 years, 8 months, and 19 days. Frank graduated from Stilwell High School and was a graduate of Northeastern State University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. He served our country in the United States Air Force. For many years he has owned and operated a pole barn construction company here in Stilwell and has been an important part of the business community. He was a member of the First Christian Church, an avid coon hunter and a member of the UKC. Frank enjoyed his family and socializing with his friends and was well known throughout the area. Frank was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children: Neal Alan Garrett of Arkoma, OK Susan Kim Garrett Crowley and husband Mitch of Stilwell, OK and Steven Frank Garrett and wife Anjanette of Smithville, MO. Four grandchildren: Benn Garrett of Siloam Springs, AR Joshua, Jacob, and Jackson Garrett all of Smithville Missouri two step grandchildren: Zachary Brett and Paxton McVey of Westville, OK. His surviving family also includes two sisters: Bobbie Rhea Keeter and husband Vyrl of Muskogee, OK Patricia Louise Carson and husband Joe Lynn of Stilwell, OK and one brother: John Garrett and wife Debbie of Stilwell, OK. Other family members and friends also survive him. Graveside services were held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 8, 2011 at Stilwell City Cemetery.
