Frankie Lou Scraper, daughter of Doss and Ira Lee Poteet Johnson, was born on July 12, 1933 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and passed from this life on June 10, 2010 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 29 days. Frankie married Troy Cleburn Scraper on July 22, 1948 and they were blessed with 61 years of marriage. She was of the Free Holiness faith. Frankie was an incredible cook and an avid gardener. Many will remember fondly the wonderful food she prepared with the ingredients from her garden. She enjoyed fishing and would go as often as she was able. Frankie loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and the time she was able to spend with them. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother to her family. Frankie was a friend to all and will be deeply missed. Frankie was preceded in death by her parents: Doss and Ira Johnson, sisters: Goldie Cronos, Irene Baker and brother: Burt Leroy Hunter. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: Troy Cleburn Scraper of the home in Stilwell, OK, son: James Scraper and wife Rita of Stilwell, OK, granddaughters: Michelle Scraper and Tina Scraper of Stilwell, OK, great grandchildren: Briana Scraper, Jaret Scraper and Kailee Scraper of Stiwell, OK, sister: Pauline Cole of Owasso, OK, halfsisters: Carol Jean and Katherine Darlene, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bill Wakley officiating. Interment followed at WhitmireScraper Cemetery, Peavine, OK under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
