Franklin Morton

Franklin Morton son of A.J. and Dona F. (McMurtrey) Morton was born February 27, 1959 in Stilwell, OK and departed this life on November 12, 2015 in Ft. Smith, AR, at the age of 56 years, 8 months and 16 days.

He worked for Stilwell Public Schools for several years as a bus driver. He also worked for Facet Industries. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Attended Piney Creek Baptist Church while his health permitted. He had a heart for animals and loved his dogs especially "Angel". Loved being the family jokester.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; A.J. and Dona Morton, brothers; Johnny and Jack Morton.

He is survived by a very loving family that includes his brother; Michael Morton and wife Rebecca of Stilwell, OK, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends.

Funeral services were held at 1 pm on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, OK with Bro. Larry Swafford officiating. Interment followed at Stilwell City Cemetery, Stilwell, OK
