Georgia O. Miller Cox, daughter of Day and Gladys Johnson Cox, was born on January 29, 1928 in Porter, OK and passed from this life on Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Stilwell, OK at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 27 days. Georgia loved and cherished her family and friends. She worked for many years as a cook at Stilwell Public Schools. Many students will remember her kindness, smiling face and good food. Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Georgia was a faithful member of Four Corners Church of Christ. She taught childrens Bible classes for many years. Georgia married Cornelius Miller on April 6, 1947. To this union three children were born: Pam, Kenny and Sandy. Georgia was a faithful wife to Cornelius until his death in 1978. Georgia was blessed with an additional family. She married Floyd Cox in May 2004. With this marriage three more children were added to her family: Linda, Floyd Lee and Marty. She was preceded in death by her parents: Day and Gladys Cox, husband: Cornelius Miller, brothers: Jimmy, Henry and Charles Milligan, Sam Pierson and sister: Sadie Cox. A very loving family survives Georgia which includes her husband: Floyd Cox of Stilwell, OK, children: Pam McAllister and husband Randy of Noble, OK, Kenny Miller and wife Betty of Stilwell, OK and Sandy Ritter and husband Rick of Stilwell, OK, Linda Mann of Tahlequah, OK, Floyd Lee Cox and wife Sharon of Edmond, OK, Marty Cox and wife Cathy of Westville, OK, 18 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren, brother: Mackey Milligan of Clinton, OK, sisters: Daisy Neff and Veda Ross of Stilwell, OK and Barbara Muntz of Choctaw, OK. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at RobertsReedCulver Funeral Chapel with Leon Brashear officiating. Interment followed at Ewing Chapel Cemetery under the direction of RobertsReedCulver Funeral Home.
